Protesting a Protest: In Defense of the Future...
nameitlater:
For those unaware, there has been a very recent (as of this posting) movement to form a protest at this year’s San Diego Comic Convention (SDCC) in a fan response of displeasure over DC’s radical change-up.
You can find information and a link to the Facebook page (as well as several posts that will mirror what I have to say here after the jump) the same way I found ‘em, via...

REVIEW: Flashpoint: Deadman and the Flying...
nameitlater:
As a stalwart DC fan (yes, I give them credit when others would lambast them for doing what needs to be done to maintain 76 years of serialized storytelling…although, can we not call it the “DCNu”? Eh, nitpicking.) I’ve been keeping up with their big summer block-buster “event” comic miniseries Flashpoint. The tales of The Flash, Batman, Aquaman and Wonder Woman’s war, and Traci...

DC HITS RESTART
As most of you have probably heard, Dan Didio dropped a major bomb this week by announcing that starting in August, DC Comics will be doing a universe wide reboot, starting with 52 different #1’s, putting a more modern spin on things.

Comic Reviews for the Week
GREETINGS TRUE BELIEVERS. No, but really. I managed to go pick up what was in my subscription box yesterday and had six issues waiting for me. I found this fairly insane because I’m only subscribed to about nine comics. Anyhow, I had Secret Six, Brightest Day, Green Lantern, Green Lantern Corps, Green Lantern: Emerald Warriors, and Carnage all ready to go. So I pounded through them and am happy...

Bad-ass superhero trailer of the day: Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters
Arguably more exciting to watch than the sometimes lol-worthy cinematic trailer, the trailer for the new Green Lantern video game has restored my faith in the Ryan Reynolds film from which it is based.
Being a video game based on a film based on a comic book, I have little faith the game will be any good, but perhaps it...

Screw colour, Walking Dead has been real...
Marvel’s latest stylistic ploy: Replacing colorful heroes with austere costumes.
…Why does it feel like Psylocke is the only one here left with any…integrity? (Apply your own comfortable level of innuendo to “integrity”, I’m not your lackey.)
